In Winter leave old stems to protect from frost and cut back in spring.

Clematis - Belle of Woking - Silvery mauve
Tie in as this climber grows. In Yr 1 cut back all stems to 30cm in early Spring.  Yr 2 cut back all stems to 1m in early
Spring. Iin subsequent years, cut out any dead or weak stems and shorten remainder to about 30cm in Spring. Feed
with fertiliser, I.e. Tomorite, or special Clematis feed in Spring and Summer

Clematis - Viticella Betty Corning
Pale blue scented flowers mid to late Summer. Prune hard back in early Spring.  Feed in early Spring

Clematis - Texensis Pagoda
Purple Pink flowers. Prune hard back in early Spring. Feed in early Spring

Clematis - Alpina Constance
Purple Pink flowers. Cut previous years growth to 6-12in after main flowering period. Flowers mid to late Spring

Delphiniums Magic Fountain
Flowers Summer, dies back in Winter to produce new growth in Spring.  May need some protection in Spring from
snails and slugs. Cut back any faded flowers

Buddelia - Variegated - Pink/Purple
Flowers in Summer, no special requirements, cut back faded flowers.  Once this has reached the required height, cut
back in Spring to new growth bud

Prunus Serrulata 'Amanogawa'
Flowers pink in Spring. No special requirements. May need some cutting back once desired height is reached.

Acer Palmatum - Garnet
Prune back any long shoots Mid Feb to promote compact growth

Calluna Vulgaris - Spring Foliage heather- Spring Cream
Grown for its foliage which displays new growth of cream contrasting with the dark green of mature leaves. White
flowers open from late September. Height and spread 12-16ins. Needs lime-free soil, containing plenty of organic
material in sun or partial shade.

Calluna Vulgaris - Spring Foliage heather- Tricolorifolia
Ideal for ground cover, this heather is grown for its colourful foliage especially prominent in spring. Pale lavender
flowers are produced in late summer. Height 12in. Avoid alkaline soil, prefers an open, well drained site.

Calluna Vulgaris - Spring Foliage heather- Orange Queen
Ideal for rock gardens and ground cover, this hardy plant will brighten your garden with its richly coloured foliage,
especially in winter and produces mauve flowers in late summer. Height 10-18in. Avoid alkaline soil. Apply 2in layer of
ericaceous compost to the soil before planting and on an open well-drained site.

Pieris Japonica - Little Heath Green
Small shrub, Heigh 30-50cm. Full sun or partial shade. Green foliage, with red new growth. Prune as and when
required.

Rhododendron - Princess Ann
This richly flowering ornamental shrub with its numerous little flowers is a beautiful addition to your garden. The plant
retains its gorgeous flowers longest when placed in semi-shade, with some morning or evening sun. Flower period:
April/May. Height 40cm. Do not trim. Yellow flower heads

Digitalis purperead - Suttons Apricot and Alba.
Tall spikes with masses of tubular apricot/white flowers held high above evergreen rosettes of greyish-green leaves.
Suitable for drifting among shrubs, roses and perennials in sun or partial shade. Easy to grow. Flowering time: Late
Spring to mid Summer. Height and spread 100cm x 45cm. Remove fading flower heads.

Euphorbia is. - Robbiae.
Milkweed. (Euphorbia) Flowering April/June. Preferably planting in sun or semi sun. Height 50-60cm. Evergreen. Only
for decorative purposes, not for consumption. When removing dead flower heads or cutting back, always wear
gloves, as the milky substance can cause irritation.

Weigela Florida - Alexandra
Shrub with pink flowers heads. Plant sun or partial shade. Flowering May-June. Height 100cm. No pruning required,
unless this plant is coming overgrown.

Heuchera Micrantha - Palace Purple
Dark purple leaves, flowering June-August. Plant in full sun or partial shade. Height 60cms. Remove fading flowers.

Ceanothus - Eldorado
This plant with its spreading habit has beautiful gold variegated foliage. Winter Hardy, but also an excellent evergreen
balcony, border or patio plant. Ideal for adding colourful touches to a garden. The plant's pale blue flowers contract
strikingly with the variegated foliage. No pruning required unless this becomes overgrown.

Alchemillia - erythropoda
This fully hardy perennial provides good ground cover. Plant in a sunny or semi-shady spot. Blooms from June until
September. Reaches a height of approx. 30cm. Ideal as a border plant. Not evergreen. Will die back and re-appear in
Spring. Cut fading flowers.

Hebe - Bronzy Baby
A fully hardy evergreen Hebe. Compactly spherical and with extremely decoratively coloured foliage. Tending more
towards yellow in summer, it colours to a lovely 'bronze' later. Cut back in Spring. Sun or dappled shade. Height and
width 50cm.

Saxifraga unbrosa - variegata
Variegated form of 'London Pride' excellent for ground cover and border leaves, forming rosettes of dark green
leaves splashed with yellow. Also bears sprays of pretty pink flowers. Flowering late Spring - early Summer. Height
and spread 30cm x 45cm. Flourishes in sun or shade in moist soil. Remove any fading flower heads.

Acer negundo - Flamingo
This acer can be placed in the sun. This does not flower but is grown for its foliage. Height upto 300cm. Pruning is
not recommended. Deciduous.

Rhodedendron - Shamrock
This richly flowering ornamental shrub with its numerous little flowers is a beautiful addition to your garden. The plant
retains its gorgeous flowers longest when placed in semi-shade, with some morning or evening sun. Flower period:
April/May. Height 40cm. Do not trim. Yellow flower heads

Hibiscus - William R Smith
One of the most attractive shrubs that produces large blooms in the autumn. This shrub grows slowly. Its leaves
turn yellow and drop in the autumn. Ideal for inclusion in borders or on its own in direct sunlight or little shade. White
flower heads. Prune in the Spring

Lavetera - Bredon Springs
A compact variety of Lavetera ornamental with masses of large soft rose-pink blooms from June until October. An
attractively graceful semi-evergreen shrub with superb ruffled sage green leaves. Excellent specimen planted against
a wall or in a sunny border. Height and spread 4ft x 4ft. Cut back to almost to ground level each Spring for healthy
new growth.

Continu coggygria - Royal Purple
This continu can be placed in the sun or semi-shade. Flowers from June to July. The height of this plant is approx
200cm. Pruning is not recommended. Deciduous.

Lanvandula - Munstead
This profusely flowering and fragrant lavender is an ornament in every garden. The spiciformed flowers bloom from
June to September and are very suitable for drying. Enjoys a sunny position, height 50cm. Cut away any dead for
fading flowers in August/September and cut another 5 to 10cm of the plant all round after the winter to encourage
new growth and stop the plant going woody.

Geranium cant. - Cambridge
Crane's Bill (Geranium). Flowering May/August. Suitable for sunny or partial shade position. After flowering, just let it
die back. Hardy perennial. Fully frost resistant. Height 20-25cm. Loses its leaves in winters and dies back. Can be
divided if necessary.

Clematis - Viticella - Purpurea Plena Elegans
Simply delightful and highly recommended. Masses of double deep velvety purple flowers in late Summer. A vigorous
deciduous climber ideal for growing over walls and old buildings. Height and spread in 10years 10ft x 10ft. Prefers sun
or light shade and rich, well drained soil. Fully hardy. Flowers on current years growth. Cut back all stems to 12ins in
early Spring.

Clematis - Venosa Violacea
Lovely white, purple-veined open flowers from id to late Summer. Good for cutting. Ideal for training on walls, arches,
pillars, pergolas, trellis-work, up trees and in containers. Height and spread 7-10ft x 6ft. Vertical support needed. Tie
in as necessary. Cut back all stems to 30cm in early Spring in Yr 1. and subsequent years cut back all stems to 75cm
in early spring. Feed in early Spring and again in Summer.

Clematis - Blue Belle
Deep violet-Blue, open flowers from mid Summer to early Autumn. Strong growing climber. Ideal for training on walls,
arches, pillars, pergolas, trellis-work and up trees. Height and spread 12ft x 6ft. Vertical support needed, tie in as
required. Cut back all stems to 30cms in early Spring in Yr 1 and then subsequent years cut back all stems to 75cms
in Spring. Fertilize in early Spring and again in Summer.
